For the last couple of months I have forgotten about the Friday Night Sew In or have been busy or too tired, etc. . .
January's Friday Night Sew In is this Friday, January 20. Larry is working and the house will be totally quiet. Except for the noise I make. Hopefully, I can leave work shortly after school and work away all evening.
What will I work on?
Fat Quarter BOM (I am one block behind.)
Becca's Bday Quilt (I started quilting it tonight.)
Design 1 or 2 baby quilts
Look around in blogland for Floral applique borders
A long list. I am hoping that if I write it down, I will accomplish a least a couple of them.
Do any of you know of a web site or a book of applique borders. I am wanting an idea for a different border for a Double Wedding Ring quilt for my daughter. She assures me that I'll have a couple of years and I won't have to hurry if I start now. Therefore, I am looking for ideas.

ReplyDeleteOooh! You've got your work cut out for you, don't you? I won't be able to participate ... I'll have spent the day with Ellie! I may have a book; I'll have to get to my quilting books (which I store under the dining table booth) and see what I've got. I'll get back to you with a title if I've got one! :)
