Poinsettia Quilt Update

I worked on this quilt for a few hours for the past couple of nights. I almost forgot about putting the yellow stars (or whatever they are) between the blocks.

I can't wait to get all of the stars appliqued on so that I can attach the green border. The inside 4 stars and the top row of stars are complete. There are still a lot of those yellow petals still to applique.

I have a black fabric with ribbons and poinsettias that I plan to use for the backing. I hope it is large enough but if it isn't, I'll attach a black border around it to make it lare enough.

The colors are pretty far off in this photo. I just cannot get good photos at night and there's no chance during the day.

Well, I am falling asleep as I type this.  So it's bedtime.

Happy snipping, stitching, and quilting.
