I started quilting the blue baby quilt last night. I stitched in the ditch and then started adding some free motion quilting.
I quilted two of these motifs in the area around the baby's name and then it was after 10 so I decided to quit for the night. Tonight I got started again and was going to transfer the next two designs but my disappearing ink pen disappeared before I could even transfer the design onto the fabric. So I guess it is a trip to Walmart tomorrow. I sure hope they still carry them.
Happy snipping, stitching, and quilting!
That looks great. Are you using stencils?

That motif looks beautiful, Vivian.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that your daughter is interested in quilting as well - it must make you feel really good! :)
I had to giggle when I read of your disappearing pen. All sorts of things do that to me at the MOST in-appropriate times. Quilting looks great..are you doing FMQ too?
ReplyDeletegood luck finding the pen at Wal-Mart last I looked there I couldn't find anything in the sewing department that I needed and had to run to hobby lobby only to find they had some of the items but not all and as you know that is all we have here to choose from! I hate having to drive to Conway to find my things at Hancocks - 45 miles is more than I want to bother with when it is just for a Mark b Gone pen or whatever.
