WOW!!! (WIP Wednesday)

I've been so lax in blogging over the summer that I did not even realize that Ester was hosting WIP on Wednesday.

I have finished my second side and started on the third side. As you can see, it really wrinkles as I applique. I did find out (by mistake) that if I spray mist it and let it sit overnight the wrinkles go away and the crispness from the spray starch returns. So after I take a picture for this post, I'm going to mist it lightly to be ready to go again tomorrow evening.

If you haven't visited Ester's blog lately, she has another new BOM (Peaceful Pathways) that began in August. It features one of my favorite bible verses. But I pledge not to start another quilt until this wedding ring is completed. (I wonder how long that will last.)

Happy snipping, stitching, and quilting.

  2. The work is lovely as usual. I have wondered what was happening to you. It is summer and we are all so busy that I think the breaks are for fun and frolic.

  4. What lovely work! It's a funny time of year, isn't it? Don't know whether to finish up or start up or both...well, I'm always doing both... but thinking I should be finishing up. The weeks just fly past.

  5. Great trick on the misting -- thanks for sharing. I have a signature wedding quilt that I need to finish before I start something new. But I can still collect ideas! :)
