On the Homefront

It has been a little bit since I have updated you on my family.

Craig and Becca are doing great. They make it a point to visit every couple of weeks. Becca's parents live about 5 miles down the road from us, so they are able to visit with all of us on the same day. We went to Fort Smith (their hometown) on Saturday to get a few things from Lowe's so we called them and met them for lunch. We went to Five Guys for burgers. They were delicious. I think Larry figured he had over 900 of his daily calories in that lunch. Ouch! (I didn't have bacon on mine.)

Kelsey is working in ICU in one of the large hospitals in Fort Smith. She is enjoying it and feeling a little bit more confident in her abilities. She took her state test last week and passed it.

Today, one of her best friends is taking her exam. My prayers are with her.  Even though, they are totally prepared, it is very stressful going through these exams. (Update--She passed also.)

And, Kelsey is engaged. The wedding is planned for October 11. We welcome Zak and Aiden to the family.

Happy snipping, stitching, and quilting.
