Snow?

Oh my, yes. We got 10 - 11  inches yesterday.  Sadly, Christmas was cut short. The kids had to go home early.

But, isn't it beautiful.

Not sure what I plan to accomplish today. I have a winter snowman quilt I would like to begin quilting, but I forgot to purchase batting for it.

I may just straighten up my sewing room. Oops, I already decided I need some plastic shoe boxes to proceed.

I have plenty of projects that I can work on and plenty of things to do around the house. So why do we always want to do something we can't. I can go for days during the summer not leaving the house. Now I am snowed in for a couple of days and I want to go out.

Well, I'll find something to do.

Happy snipping, stitching, and quilting!

  1. so pretty and so strange how the snow kind of hopped right over us leaving us with only about 2 to 3 inches! Morrilton was supposed to have had about 10 inches or so like you got - east and west of us :)

  2. The same thing happened to me -- 2 daughters,2sons-in-law and 6 grands left early to beat the snow, but they are safe.

  3. And we had the warmest temperatures ever over x-mas....but a weird time.
I know the feeling of always wanting to do something you cannot...I am living that concept right now :p

  4. Oh it's just gorgeous Vivian! I agree with Karen, it's so weird how it hopped over the Russellville area and hit on either side of us! Thanks for sharing your pictures!
