Gearing up for the weekend

What are your weekend plans?

I am going to write down my plans so that maybe it will inspire me to get something done.

1. Pick one room of my house to clean thoroughly. Purging and all.
2. Quick pickup on the rest of the house.
3. Finish the blue "I'm blushing" quilt.
4. Spend Sunday with family at my parents.
5. Read and relax.

By the way, what are you reading?

I love series and am re-reading the Elm Creek Quilters Series by Jennifer Chiaverini. I didn't see the latest in the series, Sanoma Rose, at the local library. I hope it is there next week when I go back.

Happy snipping, stitching, and quilting!

  2. I'm listening to "The Confession" by John Grisham... all 14.5 hours of it... while I clean and quilt. Love to multi-task.. LOL.

We spent last weekend in MO celebrating a daughter's birthday and early Mother's Day, so this weekend is planting more 'porch pots', stitching, and church services. Also, hope to be watching it rain as my garden sure needs it.

    Happy Mother's Day, Vivian!!
