I don't even remember what projects I have worked on and/or finished this year. It has been a rough year filled with sickness (several loved) ones and death.
I just finished this quilt for a great niece that was born at the beginning of this month. I have two more baby quilts to make. Needless to say, I am behind.
I also participated in Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt "Allietare". I do not have the final border on it yet because I cannot decide which fabric to use. Hopefully, I will finish it this summer.
I have tried to spend some time with this little one.
He is growing so fast.
And my 93 year year old father died. He was tired and ready to go home to b with Jesus and my mom.
I am consoled by the fact that he was able to die at home surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Happy snipping, stitching, and sewing!
I'm so sorry for your loss. Praying that your memories and the assurance that he's with Jesus give you peace and comfort.
ReplyDeleteYour dad is happy beyond belief now living with Jesus. Every time you play with that handsome young man, your dad is smiling. Keep making those baby quilts b/c each one adds to your memories.
