Summer has arrived

in full force. We went to Fort Smith (40 miles away) on Saturday to get a few things for the home. The toilet in one bathroom was not flushing correctly and we needed a new part. We also needed filters for our under the cabinet water filter. And oh my, it was hot.

Craig and Becca cooked for us and then we went to see the new Star Trek movie.

On Sunday morning, I started early cleaning the patio. Lots of pollen to wash off of everything. Glad I started early because it was hot again today.

I spent a few hours in the late afternoon getting the binding on the Bonnie Hunter Orca Bay quilt. I absolutely love it.

I only have four days of school this week and then summer vacation will be here. I am thinking this lounge with the quilt looks like a good place to drink my coffee in the cool early morning hours.  Don't you?

 Happy snipping, stitching, and quilting.

  2. Vivian, that quilt on the lounge chair looks like a GREAT spot to relax on an extra day off from school. The quilt came out beautifully! Watch for an email about a blog tour I'm hoping you'll be interested in.
